date March 3, 2025

A non-invasive imaging technique uses ultrasound waves to create a two-dimensional image of the heart, allowing diagnosis to be accurate.

What: Evaluates heart size and performance, points out blood clots, valve functions, or any anomalies.

When: It is used while giving cardiac treatment to the pet, especially for chronic heart patients. Symptoms: shortness of breath or irregular heartbeats.

How: Uses sound vibrations to create a 2D image of the heart. The entire structure can be monitored in real time.

Why: As per the breed of the pet and the recommended size of heart, any abnormalities, genetic condition or discomfort in heart muscles can be detected pre-emptively.
