Job Summary:
Diploma vet. will be responsible for assisting to veterinarian during examination, treatment, surgical intervention process in small animals. You will work closely with veterinary professionals and support staff to ensure the well-being of pets and other animals.
Key Responsibilities:
General Medical/Surgical care:
- Conduct History of pets before examination done by veterinarian
- Assisting the veterinarian during different procedure like treatment, vaccination, iv fluid therapy, surgical intervention, critical care and emergency
- Indoor patient feeding care, post operative surgical wound dressing/emergency
- First aid treatment during accident/trauma or any other condition under the supervision of veterinarian
- Perform Blood Collection, IV fluid therapy in pets
- Perform First aid treatment of wounds /trauma
- Collaborate with veterinarian for advancement of better care of pets Clinical Collaboration:
- Work closely with veterinary Physician, Surgeons, Veterinary specialist and other consulting Specialist for better insight
- Participate in case discussions, rounds, and multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to comprehensive patient care plans.
- Provide first aid emergency care to animals in critical condition
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
- May involve working in rotational shifts.
- Work closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing Education Programme.
- DAH (Diploma in Animal Husbandry) degree from an accredited Polytechnic in animal husbandry College
- Minimum of 1 and maximum of 5 yrs experience of working in any pet hospital.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

- Primarily based at our state-of-the-art veterinary hospital.
