Today, we rescued an innocent soul from the streets of Memco, Naroda, in a heartbreaking condition. He was found lying on the road,  helpless, with maggots eating away his eye and part of his skull, likely from an old untreated wound.

In unbearable pain and with a broken spirit, he had almost given up — waiting for death to end his suffering. But thankfully, a kind-hearted Samaritan noticed him and reached out to our Founder, sharing his picture.

There was no way we could turn away.
We immediately arranged for his rescue and brought him to Paws Universe, where his wound was cleaned and every maggot painstakingly removed.

We’ve named him Memco, after the place where he was found.

He is now in critical condition and under intensive treatment. His recovery will be a long and costly journey, but we refuse to give up on him.

Memco requires continuous hospitalization and critical care for at least the next month and a half to recover from his current condition.
